Stud Type Cam Follower KRV72X2SK SYX Bearing
Bolt type roller is a mechanical unit composed of machined bolts, thrust washers, outer rings, and rolling elements. It is mainly used in cam transmission, bed guide rails, and conveying equipment, and can withstand high radial loads and slight axial forces.
The inner raceway adopts support bolts with fixed threads and lubrication holes instead of traditional structures, and the thick walled outer ring surface adopts crown shaped modification (curvature radius R=500mm) or optimized INA profile to reduce Hertz stress and track wear.
Product Types and Specifications
The products are divided into two types: those with cages (KR series) and those with full rolling elements (KRV, NUKR series). The sealing forms include gap sealing, three-stage PP sealing, labyrinth sealing, and lip sealing.
GA08 lithium based composite soap lubricating grease is used for initial filling, supporting re lubrication through bolts or central lubrication systems. The working temperature range is -30 ℃ to +140 ℃ (with an upper limit of +120 ℃ for sealed models).
The model with eccentric sleeve can adjust the outer ring position through the inner hexagonal hole, and the eccentricity is marked on the end face to improve load distribution. The outer diameter covers 16-90mm, and the compatible thread diameter is 6-35mm. The bolt tolerance requirement is h7/h9, and hexagonal nuts need to be used for axial tightening.
Installation and Maintenance Guidelines
Pre-Installation Checks
- Cleaning: Before installation, clean the installation area (shaft, bolt hole or bearing seat) to ensure no burrs, rust, or dirt. Keep the bearing itself clean and do not unpack until immediately before installation.
- Verification: Verify bearing model, specifications, and design drawings for consistency. Check sealing form and lubrication status.
- Tool Preparation: Prepare suitable installation tools such as specialized sleeves, soft copper hammers, or hydraulic tools. Never use improper tools that directly strike the outer ring or rolling elements.
Key Installation Points
- Apply Correct Installation Force: Use a torque wrench to evenly and gradually tighten installation bolts according to manufacturer's recommended torque values. Excessive tightening causes outer ring deformation and internal clearance issues; insufficient tightening leads to looseness and shaking.
- Ensure Alignment and Parallelism: After installation, check parallelism between bearing outer ring and guide rail or contact surface. Severe deflection causes load concentration and abnormal wear. For paired rollers, ensure they run in the same plane.
- Eccentric Roller Bearing Adjustment: After installing eccentric bearing, adjust to middle position by rotating outer ring to reserve space for future wear adjustment. After adjustment, lock the anti-loosening device of the eccentric sleeve.
Post-Installation Inspection
After installation, manually rotate the bearing to check for smooth, flexible rotation without jamming or abnormal noise. During no-load low-speed trial operation, observe operating status, listen for sounds, and check for abnormal temperature rise.
Conclusion: Careful and standardized installation is essential for bearing performance. Following correct procedures ensures long-term stable equipment operation and significantly reduces unexpected downtime.
